With a career spanning over 50 years, Joe Camilleri is the driving force behind The Black Sorrows, recently recognised as a “living legend” by Rolling Stone.

A versatile talent as a singer, songwriter, saxophonist, and producer, Camilleri is a prominent figure in Australian music. His notable songs, including “So Young,” “Hold On To Me,” and “Harley and Rose,” have become radio staples. Leading successful bands like Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons before forming The Black Sorrows in 1984, Camilleri’s influence extends to the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame, where he was inducted in 2007.
