The new Committee of Management at Hill Top Golf Club recently gathered in the Board Room to do what any good crew does after a big trip – relive the highlights, share a few laughs, and catch up over some well-earned downtime.

Friday night’s get-together was a chance for the committee to reminisce about their recent Vanuatu cruise, and by all accounts, the stories were flowing freely. There’s nothing quite like a group of familiar faces swapping tales from a shared adventure.

Whatever Happened to Captain Little Mick?

One story that clearly made the cut was the mysterious disappearance of Captain Little Mick on the very first night of the cruise. Naturally, the committee feared the worst – until it was revealed that Mick had simply retired to his cabin early. No search party required, thankfully!

It’s the kind of moment that becomes club folklore – the sort of tale that gets better with every retelling and funnier each time someone brings it up.

It’s always great to see the committee taking time to connect outside of formal meetings and build the camaraderie that makes a club community feel like exactly that – a community. Here’s to many more adventures and plenty more laughs to come.
